Terms of Service

Who we are

HrThroo is a product of Brandstac Private Limited (CIN U73100DL2026PTC470130), 5/36, 2nd Floor, Lajpat Nagar 4, New Delhi 110024, India. These terms are an agreement between the organisation that uses HrThroo ("you") and Brandstac Private Limited ("Brandstac", "we"). Whoever accepts them on an organisation's behalf confirms they may do so.

The service

HrThroo helps recruiting teams screen CVs against criteria they approve, run AI phone screens and AI video interviews, email candidates from their own mailbox, and share shortlists with their clients. AI output is a recommendation with evidence; you decide about every candidate, and you are responsible for those decisions.

Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Plans. Using HrThroo needs a paid plan. Plans, prices and monthly allowances of CV screenings, call minutes and video minutes are on the pricing page. Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude taxes, which are added as applicable. Payments are processed by Razorpay.

Renewal. Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until cancelled. Allowances reset at the start of each billing period and don't carry over.

Usage. A connected call or interview of up to 60 seconds counts as 1 minute; after that, each started minute counts as a whole minute. Calls that don't connect are free. Calls go out through your own phone number, so call charges from your telephony provider are billed by that provider to you. They aren't part of your HrThroo plan.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in the app, or by writing to hello@hrthroo.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.

Refunds. Fees for a period that has started are not refundable, including for unused allowances, except where the law requires otherwise or where we charged you in error, for example a duplicate payment or a charge after you cancelled. Write to hello@hrthroo.com within 30 days of the charge and we will refund a charge made in error to the original payment method. A refund of a period's fee ends the plan for that period.

Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect on your plan; it applies from your next renewal after that.

Your responsibilities for candidates

For your candidates' personal data you are the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act, and Brandstac processes it on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it, for any notice the law requires, and for acting on candidates' requests.

You must call or interview a candidate only with their consent, which HrThroo records, and honour opt-outs. You must not use HrThroo for anyone under 18, to discriminate unlawfully, or to make hiring decisions without a person's review.

Data protection

We process candidate data only to provide HrThroo and as you instruct through the product; keep it confidential; protect it as described in the Privacy Policy and on the Security page; use only the providers on the Subprocessors page; tell you without undue delay of a breach affecting it; help you answer candidates' requests; and never use it to train AI models. When your workspace is deleted, its data is erased, except records the law requires us to keep.

Your mailbox and phone number

Emails are sent from mailboxes you connect, and calls from phone numbers you connect. You are responsible for having the right to use them, for your agreements with those providers, and for their charges.

Acceptable use

Don't use HrThroo to send unsolicited bulk messages, to contact people who haven't agreed to calls or interviews, to break the law or anyone's rights, or to probe, overload or work around the service's security or limits.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details and connected credentials secure, and tell us promptly at hello@hrthroo.com if you think your account has been misused.

Availability and liability

We work to keep HrThroo available and accurate, but provide it as is: AI output can be wrong, which is why a person reviews every decision. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using HrThroo and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

Each version of these terms is numbered and dated, with a line below saying what changed. We announce material changes in the app and by email before they take effect.
